The event recognises staff who have completed 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of continuous and dedicated service.
The Long Service Awards Ceremony is designed to celebrate and honour employees who have demonstrated exceptional loyalty, professionalism and commitment to NICO Life over many years. Its purpose is to recognise and appreciate their dedication, strengthen engagement and morale across the organisation, and promote long-term retention by valuing those who choose to grow their careers with the company. The ceremony also reinforces the importance of knowledge transfer and continuity by spotlighting experienced staff, while supporting their ongoing professional development and potential for leadership through succession planning. Additionally, the awards foster a sense of community, promote employee well-being, and provide a platform for open communication and feedback, ensuring that long-serving employees feel seen, valued and heard within the organisation.

As a gesture of gratitude, NICO Life gifts each awardee two bags of cement for every year served, with the option to exchange the gift for an equivalent monetary value. Awardees are also handed over certificates as formal recognition for their commitment.
